Payment tracking · Trade finance verification

Find your wire. Verify the SWIFT you received.

Paste a UETR and see which bank is holding your SWIFT payment right now. Got an MT760, MT700 or MT799 you are not sure about? Our trade finance desk checks it by hand against ten years of reviewed messages.

UETR is in field 121 of your MT103. Banks also need the amount, currency and date to find the payment.

How tracking works

From UETR to the bank holding your money

Every SWIFT gpi payment carries a unique reference. Each bank that touches it reports a status. We put those reports in order and translate the codes into plain language.

  1. Paste the UETR

Ask your bank for the MT103 or pacs.008 copy. The UETR sits in field 121 of the header, formatted like xxxxxxxx-xxxx-4xxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.

  2. We ask the banks on the route

Major correspondent banks publish trackers for the payments they handle. We query them on your behalf and merge what each reports: timestamp, charges deducted and status code.

  3. You know who to call

If funds stop at an intermediary, you see which one and why. Every track is saved in your account.

Trade finance desk

The messages automated trackers can't verify, reviewed by trade finance specialists

Guarantees, documentary credits and free-format pre-advice messages require more than a format check.

Send us the SWIFT copy you received. A trade finance specialist will review its structure, parties, routing details and wording, and compare it against patterns identified across genuine and fraudulent messages collected over more than ten years.

You receive a clear assessment of the document and the red flags, inconsistencies or unusual features identified during the review.

Category 7 · Documentary creditMT700

Issue of a documentary credit. We check the issuing bank, field structure, UCP 600 references and the terms that commonly hide traps.

Category 7 · Documentary creditMT710

Advice of a third bank's credit. We confirm the chain from issuing bank to advising bank holds together.

Category 7 · GuaranteesMT760

Bank guarantee or standby LC. We review the post-2021 sequence layout, URDG or ISP98 rules and the :77U: wording.

Category 7 · Free formatMT799

Pre-advice and proof-of-funds messages. The most abused format in leased-instrument schemes, so it gets the closest look.

Category 9 · ProprietaryMT998

Bank-specific proprietary content. We check whether the sender and the sub-message type make sense together.

Category 9 · Free formatMT999

Free-format cash management messages, often presented as "proof" of a transfer. We tell you what it does and does not prove.

Questions

Before you send

Can I pay for just one check?

Yes. A single payment track costs $19.99 and a single trade finance deal review costs $99, paid once by card. Nothing to cancel.

Do your prices include VAT?

Prices are shown excluding VAT. At checkout, VAT is added only where the law requires it: for customers in Spain and private individuals in the EU. Businesses outside the EU, and EU businesses that enter a valid VAT number, pay the price shown and receive an invoice with the reverse-charge mention.

Where do I find my UETR?

Ask your bank for the SWIFT copy (MT103) of the payment. The UETR is the 36-character code in field 121 of block 3. Banks using ISO 20022 show it in the pacs.008 as UETR.

Can every payment be tracked?

Payments sent through SWIFT gpi can be tracked hop by hop. Some banks on a route do not report statuses, and very old payments drop out of the data.

Can you confirm a guarantee is genuine?

We tell you whether the message is consistent with a genuine bank message and whether it matches known fraud patterns in our database. Only the issuing bank can finally confirm an instrument, so every report lists exactly what to ask them to confirm through an authenticated channel.

Why is an MT799 not proof of funds?

An MT799 is a free-format message. It can carry any text a bank chooses to send, and it creates no payment obligation. Our report explains what the specific message you received does and does not show.

What counts as one deal?

All SWIFT messages relating to one transaction, for example an MT799 pre-advice followed by the MT760 guarantee and an amendment. Separate transactions are separate checks.

Who sees my documents?

Only the specialists assigned to your review. Files are stored encrypted in a private space, never shared with third parties, and you can see every request, report and invoice in your account.
